Jets quarterback Zach Wilson and longtime girlfriend Abbey Gile appear to have been secretly removing one another off of the Instagram pages.
Wilson who recently wrapped his first season at New York, seemingly took off a blog post in November that showed Wilson and Gile enjoying a night out together with Jets teammates Nick Bawden and Quinnen Williams and their significant other.
Gile however, appears to have erased a photo of her as well as Wilson taking a picture outside MetLife Stadium in October, the year he won his first Jets victory.
At the time of writing However, Gile Wilson and Wilson remain in close proximity to one another.
Gile has been associated with Wilson since the time they were teenagers. In April of this year, Gile joined Wilson and his family members at Wilson’s 2021 NFL Draft in Cleveland, in which Gile, a ex-BYU quarterback was selected second overall. BYU quarterback was chosen 2nd overall.
“Still cannot wrap my brain over this moment. I am so grateful to be a part of his journey from high school.” Gile gushed at the moment. “Zach has worked so hard to be here and he made his dream reality.”
The month before, Gile was in attendance to watch the Jets-Dolphins matchup in Miami in which she wore an ‘Number. 2 necklace, Wilson’s number.
Wilson completed his debut NFL season with a total of 2,334 yards with eleven interceptions and nine touchdowns over 13 games. The quarterback of 22 wrote about his first season through his Instagram post.
“We might not be content with the place we ended up in the rankings however I’m very happy with this group of players who fight for their lives every day, week in and out. This is something we can continue to build upon and that’s the way we’re going to accomplish. Couple days off, and back to the lab. #GoJets” the caption of the post read.
The Jets ended the season with 4-13.
