The famous PSVR exclusive game from Camouflaj is coming to Meta’s Oculus Quest 2 devices, with “Marvel’s Iron Man VR” taking flight on the company’s VR headset this fall. This announcement came after Meta Connect 2022 event, where the company also announced that it acquired the game developer for its Oculus Studios team.

Meta’s latest Connect 2022 event gave the world much information on the upcoming offers of the company for its renowned VR platform.

One of the latest games to arrive for the Oculus Quest 2 users is “Marvel’s Iron Man VR” game, and according to the company, gamers may soon experience what it is like to be Tony Stark.

The 2020 game was first available for the PlayStation VR platform and was exclusive to Sony’s virtual reality experience until now.

Camouflaj’s acquisition, now turning over to Meta, made this integration possible, also bringing the company’s other title, “REPUBLIQUE VR,” and its rights over to Mark Zuckerberg’s company.

Where to Preorder, How Much is ‘Iron Man VR’

Meta announced that the “Iron Man VR” is coming to the platform by November 3, and it is only several weeks away from its release. There are no preorders for this game as it will be available once it drops by early November for all users.

Oculus and Meta did not yet announce a price tag for the new VR game, but over at PlayStation, it offers the “Iron Man VR” title for $39.99 for its standard edition and $49.99 for its Digital Deluxe version.

Iron Man Games and Representations

When taking on Marvel Comics’ famous heroes, one cannot leave the famous armored Avenger and known “genius, billionaire, playboy, philantrophist” inventor, Anthony Edward Stark. He is better known as Iron Man and he is one of the most stellar figures in the mass media representations, even in games dedicated to the hero.

Iron Man once arrived on “Fortnite” and is still available in the game via the Battle Pass, where users may purchase his skin to run around the arena in one of the most fashionable ways possible.

Stark’s presence also graced the Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ 2020 game, “Marvel’s Avengers,” being one of the main playable characters of the game’s plot. It presented different suits for the Marvel hero as well, bringing his iconic armor including the “Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame” suit, “Civil War” outfit, “Iron Man 2’s” foldable suit in a case, and more.

Electronic Arts and Marvel Games are also developing a standalone game for the famous Avenger, coming in the following years for all to experience. However, while waiting for that, Oculus and Meta Quest users have a treat for all, and that is the availability of the then-exclusive “Marvel’s Iron Man VR” game coming to the Quest library.
