49th Street Tavern in Newburgh Heights is offering three different offerings for Taco Week. Their steak tacos feature a soft shell, marinated steak, lettuce, tomato, onion, tomato salsa and sour cream, their chicken tacos come with a soft shell, cilantro, lime, tomato salsa and sour cream. Their shrimp tacos come with a creamy taco slaw in a soft shell.
Academy Tavern on Larchmere
12800 Larchmere Blvd., Cleveland
The Academy Tavern is offering three taco iterations for Taco Week. All three tacos are served with a soft shell. The Academy Taco comes with ground beef, lettuce and cheddar cheese, the buffalo chicken comes with grilled chicken, sauteed onions, green peppers and house made jalapeño cheese sauce and the cajun shrimp taco comes with cajun shrimp, lettuce, tomato and green chili salsa. Their drink specials include a $4 Dos Equis and a $6 Suavecito Margarita.
Añejo Tequila Joint

Añejo Tequila Joint is offering three tacos for Taco Week. Their beef tacos come with ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cotija cheese, Añejo house sauce and a hard corn shell. Their shrimp tacos come with sauteed shrimp Añejo house slaw and a soft corn shell. Their veggie tacos come with tomatoes, corn, zucchini, yellow squash, yellow onion, red bell pepper, black beans and cilantro and are served in a soft corn shell. They have $4 Modelo and Modelo Negra, $4 Suavecito Blanco, $6 Suavecito Reposado, $8 Suavecito Añejo, $10 Suavecito Extra Añejo and $6 Suavecito Margarita.
Balance Pan-Asian Grille

Downtown, Balance Pan-Asian Grille is offering three different tasty tacos. The Mongo comes with sweet and smoky Mongo Sauce atop wok-fired steak, Japanese mayo and spiral-cut carrots, and garnished with Balance Farm Micro Cilantro. The Bang Bang tacos come with grilled chicken smothered in spicy BangBang sauce and a cool yogurt sauce and garnished with red onion, cilantro and crunchy noodles. The wasabi aioli tacos come with a Japanese-inspited Wasabi Aioli over grilled chicken, served with red cabbage, kimchi pickles, a vegetarian sauce and Balance Farms microgreens for a spicy, citrusy and salty flavor.
At multiple locations across town (Tremont, Lakewood, Willoughby, Downtown, Kent and Cleveland Heights) Barrio is offering three unique tacos. The El Jefe Loco comes with a stoner shell (flour soft, corn hard, chorizo and queso), spice-rubbed chicken, queso fresco, Western Reserve smoked cheddar, pico de gallo, corn salsa, chipotle honey barbeque sauce and salsa roja. The El Gringo comes on a flour shell with chili-spiced ground sirloin, Western Reserve smoked cheddar, lettuce, pico de gallo and chipotle crema. The El Vegano comes with their lean goddess shell (corn soft, corn hard and guac), pan-seared portobellos, caramelized onions, poblanos, pico de gallo, corn salsa and salsa verde. Their Suavecito Special is a Skinny Suave (Suavecito Blanco, lime juice, agave and soda water) for $10 and $4 Modelos.

Blue Habañero is offering barbacoa tacos served with cilantro, onions, tomatoes and tomato spiced salsa and tinga tacos served with simmered chicken, fresco queso, avocado and tomato spiced salsa.They’re also offering a bbq pork taco with slowly roasted pork that’s then shredded with BBQ sauce and topped with fresh home made corn pico salsa. They also have a carne asada taco featuring their ribeye steak.
Bomba Taco + Bar
At two locations (2101 Richmond Rd., Beachwood and 19880 Detroit Rd.,Rocky River), Bomba is offering three different tacos. The Smoked Piggy comes with BBQ pulled pork, crispy onions and Salvadorian slaw. The Yard Bird comes with chipotle marinated roasted chicken, pickled red onions and guacamole. The Smokin’ Brussels comes with smoked brussels sprouts, pickled red onions, fish caramel and red fresno peppers.

In Tremont, the popular breakfast spot is offering the breakfast taco, served with scrambled eggs, chorizo, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and avocado, the taco de pescado, filled with lightly breaded & grilled haddock, slaw & jalapeño crema and their fiesta fresh taco filled with black beans, corn salsa and avocado, topped with a drizzle of chipotle mayo. All come in a flour tortilla.

Gunselman’s may be known for their tasty burgers but they are offering some delicious tacos for Taco Week. The Gunny short rib street taco features their house recipe braised short rib, pico de gallo, lime crema and lettuce. Their adobo seasoned ground beef taco comes with adobo seasoned ground beef, pico de gallo, lime crema and lettuce. And their lime pepper garlic chicken tacos come with pico de gallo, lime crema and lettuce. They offer a flour or corn tortilla with each taco. Their drin specials include $3.50 Modelo bottles or buckets of 5 for $15 and a Suavecito Margarita for $5.

Salted Dough is offering three different tacos for taco week. Their harissa cured pork belly tacos are stewed with african spice veggies finished with a North african chermoula sauce in a flour tortilla. Their pulled smoke chicken tacos are served with onion, avocado, cilantro aioli, corn salsa and a chipotle crema. Their grilled veggie tacos with avocado come with chopped onion, vegan cilantro chile lime, aioli and vegan cheese.
38257 Glenn Ave., Willoughby
At Sol in Willoughby, they’re offering their pulled chicken tacos, served with charred cabbage, pico de gallo, cotija cheese and guacamole.
Southern Tier Brewing Company
811 Prospect Ave. East, Cleveland
This downtown brewery is offering their pork el pastor tacos with ancho salsa, grilled pineapple and scallions, their chicken tinga tacos with pulled chicken, roasted tomato salsa, cotija, avocado-cumin crema and cilantro and their vegetarian verduras tacos roasted sweet potatoes, black beans, pickled onions, avocado crema and cilantro. All three tacos are served in a corn tortilla.
The Foundry Concert Club
11729 Detroit Ave., Lakewood
This concert club and bar is offering three different tacos for Taco Week. The meat tacos come with your choice of beef and chorizo blend or seasoned shredded chicken, topped with shredded cheddar, mixed greens, your choice of salsa, and sour cream. They also have a vegetarian taco with black bean mash topped with shredded cheddar, your choice of salsa, and mixed greens (can be made vegan without cheese). Their taco of the month is their sushi taco made with white rice, cucumber, crab salad, sriracha aioli, jalapeño cream cheese and guacamole on a soft tortilla. They have a $3 Modelo special plus $4 Suavecito shots and cocktails.

Tacologist is offering three tacos for Taco Week. Their carnitas tacos are served with slow roasted pork, queso fresco and cilantro in a corn tortilla. Their barbacoa tacos are served with spicy shredded beef, adobo sauce, queso fresco, onion and cilantro in a corn tortilla. And their avocado tacos come with black beans and pico in a flour tortilla.
Twisted Taino Frappe Bar and Grill
1400 West 25th Street, Cleveland
On West 25th in Ohio City, Twisted Taino is offering three tacos for taco week. Their guajillo taco comes with long and slow guajillo pepper marinated pork roast topped with mango habanero salsa and avocado cilantro Jaramillo sauce. Their creole chicken taco comes with their signature pulled chicken braised in tomato based creole sauce and topped with mango habanero salsa and avocado cilantro Jaramillo sauce. Their vegan taco comes with red and green bell peppers, onions and tomatoes and smothered in fajita marinade.
