John Christopher Depp II, professionally known as Johnny Depp was born on June 9, 1963, in Owensboro, Kentucky, the United States as the youngest of four children born to his parents Betty Sue Palmer Wells and John Christopher Depp.
Johnny Depp’s mother Betty worked as a waitress while his father John was a civil engineer Christopher Depp. He was raised alongside his siblings Daniel Depp, Christi Dembrowski, and Debbie Depp.
Johnny Depp made his debut in the horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990).
